Tiramisu Sep2009

My sis in law and I decided to try to make tiramisu, so I got a recipe from a forum friend Scatterseed. The recipe is very simple and my sis in law was so amazed we manage to do it so easily.

the result? not too bad, except the base ladyfingers were a little too wet (we thought they are not soft enough and added extra coffee to soften them).

and next time, we will try to use kahlua instead of baileys and see if the taste will be better.

ah kee, termie here. one tip on ladyfingers. when your coffee is hot, (ok try and visualize this now) hold the ladyfingers in the centre, ladyfingers should be horizontal {-------] <----like that, and then dip into the coffee and then lay it down on the tray. that should ensure that your ladyfingers are not too soft and not too hard. also depending on how deepl you immerse the ladyfingers in. if u like white sambuca (an italian liquer) u can try using that too. if not sure what is sambuca wiki it :D
